Clockwork Communications recognizes the challenges facing smaller specialty associations when it comes to member recruitment and retention and sustaining important membership benefits such as a peer-reviewed journal.

In response to these challenges we developed collaborative specialty journals that reduce costs by sharing resources and professional support among various groups. Each participating organization receives its own section in the journal, manages the peer-review process for its own content, and receives access to the journal for its membership. Clockwork provides all of the professional support, including policy and guideline documents, advertising sales, production, and distribution. We are proudly Canadian owned and actively committed to supporting Canadian peer-reviewed publishing.

Each journal has its own website which can be found below.

CJMS

Content from, and information about, Canadian Journal of Medical Specialties can be found on its website. The journal is peer-reviewed and published quarterly. Manuscript abstracts are published immediately with full content becoming open access after 6 months. Associations and societies that participate in the journal receive a section in the journal for content from their specialty area, access to full content as soon as it is published, and the option to publish their annual meeting abstracts in our supplement.
